
Terms & Conditions
By using Washwell’s laundry pickup and delivery services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These policies are designed to protect both Washwell and its customers while ensuring efficient and consistent service.

Scheduling & Cancellations
Service Days
Standard pickup and delivery days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, same-day cancellations, or failure to have laundry available at pickup may result in partial or full forfeiture of payment.
Service Cancellation by Washwell
If Washwell must cancel a scheduled service, customers will receive either:

A full refund, or
-
The option to reschedule at no additional charge.
Payment Terms (Non-Negotiable)

Payment is required at the time of booking and prior to pickup.

Laundry services will not begin until payment has been successfully processed.

Washwell reserves the right to charge the payment method on file for any additional approved services or adjustments (including additional bags or fees) prior to completion of service.

Failure to submit payment may result in service refusal or delayed delivery.
Pricing & Bag Requirements

Laundry must be placed in standard 13-gallon kitchen trash bags.

Pricing:
-
1 bag: $40
-
2 or more bags: $35 per bag
-
-
Bags must be loosely filled, securely tied, and free from compression, overfilling, double-bagging, or damage.

Overfilled or improperly packed bags will be counted as two (2) bags.
Laundry Handling & Liability
Washwell takes reasonable care in handling all laundry. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Washwell is not responsible for:

Lost or missing items
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Shrinkage
-
Color bleeding or dye transfer
-
Stains that do not come out
-
Items left in pockets (including but not limited to pens, gum, paper, or coins)
-
Manufacturer defects, weak seams, or pre-existing damage
Customers are solely responsible for checking pockets prior to pickup.
Washwell’s liability, if any, shall not exceed the total cost of the laundry service provided.
Washing & Drying Standards
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to pickup:

Laundry is washed in cold water
-
Laundry is dried on medium heat
-
Standard commercial detergent is used
-
Laundry is processed using standard wash practices
Washwell does not guarantee color separation unless explicitly requested and approved in advance. Special detergent requests, sorting preferences, or temperature adjustments must be requested prior to pickup and may incur additional fees.
Hanging Service
If hanging service is requested:

Customers must provide a separate bag of hangers at pickup

Hung items will be returned in a protective garment bag unless otherwise agreed upon
Pickup & Drop-Off Instructions
Pickup Requirements

Laundry must be placed on the porch or designated pickup area
-
Bags must meet Washwell’s stated bag requirements
Return Packaging
-
Laundry will be returned in clean plastic bags unless otherwise agreed upon
Inventory Responsibility

Washwell does NOT itemize or inventory individual garments.
-
Customers are responsible for tracking their own item counts prior to pickup.
-
By using Washwell’s services, customers waive any claims related to item count discrepancies.
Prohibited Items
For health and safety reasons, Washwell does not accept laundry contaminated with:

Blood
-
Oil or grease
-
Bugs or insects
-
Chemicals or hazardous substances
-
Urine
-
Fecal matter
If prohibited items are discovered before or after pickup, Washwell reserves the right to refuse service and return items unwashed at the customer’s expense, with no refund.
Exceptions & Sanitization
On a case-by-case basis, items with accidental contamination may be accepted only with prior approval and will incur an additional sanitization fee.
Service Refusal
Washwell reserves the right to refuse service at any time for reasons including, but not limited to:

Unsafe pickup or delivery conditions
-
Improperly bagged laundry
-
Presence of prohibited items
-
Repeated violations of these Terms & Conditions
Turnaround Time

Standard turnaround time is 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Express service may be available for an additional fee.
Unclaimed Items
Laundry not claimed within 30 days of service completion may be donated or disposed of at Washwell’s discretion. Storage fees may apply after 30 days.
Additional Fees

Late cancellations or missed pickups

Sanitization fees (case-by-case)

Excessive pet hair fees
Service Delays
Washwell is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, traffic, vehicle issues, or emergencies.
Changes to Services & Policies
Washwell reserves the right to modify services, pricing, or policies at any time. Continued use of Washwell’s services constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms & Conditions.
